For this session, the event will highlight the field of water and intelligent water. FIWARE Water Day is a free, open, digital event that is understandable to the general public and focuses on the key issue of linking the physical and digital world with open sources and standards for more efficient resource management.
The main objective of this event is to analyse how to overcome the digital related challenges linked to water from different perspectives. The matter is to know how we can do more with less water in a sustainable manner, from Innovation in technology to financing, business models, partnerships and policy as main enablers for society and businesses to make effective change happen.
This free virtual experience will also invite FIWARE Community experts to discuss how Open Source technology and key standards are contributing to the ability and speed to address urgent challenges and the needs of society and the world as a whole. The event will also be the opportunity to attend an intervention of the synergy group DigitalWater2020 with a presentation by each of the 5 sister projects (Fiware4Water, aqua3S, Digital-water.city, NAIADES & SCOREwater) and a speaker from the ICT4Water cluster.
