Save the date: INBO Webinar

07/09/2020

The International Network of Basin Organisations was established by organisations whose common goal was to implement integrated basin Water Resource Management. INBO has, among its objectives, a role of support to its members, to facilitate the implementation of tools suitable for institutional and financial management, programming, organization of databanks and information systems, and to promote information and training programs for basin organizations.

Within Fiware4Water project, INBO is involved in the Demo Network #2. This Demo Network aims to promote and present the benefits of Fiware4Water smart applications and devices for managing water in an integrated way, relying on sound Water Information Systems and efficient data management through the organisation of 6 workshops (at year 3 of the project) linked to events driven by its regional branches (Europe, Africa, Mediterranean, South America, North America, Central Asia). The main objective here for the project is to benefit from the INBO sphere of influence.

On Tuesday 15th of September, INBO organises a webinar: "Water information systems, governance and the interest of remote sensing: for an informed water resources management at national and basin levels". It will be translated simultaneously into French, English and Spanish. Registration for the webinar is now closed. However, it will subsequently be available on INBO website in the three previous languages.

This webinar will be an opportunity to recall some elements of the state of the art and to exchange on these various topics with in particular the intervention of major witnesses involved in the management of water resources in national and international contexts.
